Helmet Cross CGM 606G Forward Matt Red (double visor)
Article information
The CGM 606G Forward is a modern Motard helmet with an angular design, a long chin piece and a sun visor. The helmet is also equipped with a normal visor and an integrated smoke visor. The 606G is the graphic version, with a design designed to emphasize the contemporary and technological spirit of the helmet, available in four colours.
Polycarbonate shell
A polycarbonate outer shell is relatively cheap to produce, which makes the helmets affordable. The helmet is produced by using a mould where the material is poured and compressed. By using plasticizers, the plastic becomes elastic. Through exposure to UV-light and various weather conditions, these plasticisers deteriorate. This means that a polycarbonate helmet should be replaced after approximately 5 years.Front and/or rear ventilation system
The ventilation system consists of air inlets at the front and/or rear. Through air channels in the inner shell, the incoming air is guided through the helmet. In this way, the rider experiences a constant air flow which also guarantees a pleasant temperature inside the helmet.Perimetrical rim
The outer shell is finished with a plastic rim. This not only provides a neat finish but also offers protection to the outer shell. If the helmet is dropped on the ground, it is not immediately damaged.Large surface Visor
In order to have an even better view of the road, the visor is equipped with a larger surface. This gives the driver a better view of the traffic from the side. This enhances comfort and safety while riding.Integrated sun visor
The integrated sun visor is easy to use. By pulling the lever of the visor, the visor comes down. This way, you don't have to wear sunglasses on sunny days. The sun visor blocks most of the sun's rays and can be combined with sunglasses. When it gets too dark, you can easily pull the visor up again and use the transparent visor.Luxury inner lining
The inner lining is more luxurious compared to the standard lining. The lining is made of refined materials and has a luxurious look. The colours of the lining match the exterior of the helmet. The luxury lining can often be found on the more expensive helmets.Removable inner lining
The inner lining is attached to the inner shell by snaps or velcro. The removable inner lining can be washed with neutral soap. In this way, the lining remains in good quality and the helmet fresh. In addition to the inner lining, the cheek pads are also removable.Perforated inner lining
The ventilation system in the helmet ensures a constant air flow. Through the perforated inner lining, this air, which enters through the air channels, can also reach the skin. This way it always stays cool inside the helmet. In winter, the ventilation system can be closed so no air enters the helmet.Nose deflector
The nose deflector prevents warm air from blowing against the visor. This avoids condensation on the visor, which can reduce visibility. Alternatively, a Pinlock visor can be fitted on the helmet.Chin deflector
By using the chin deflector, the space under the chin is closed off. In this way the helmet will be more silent and the stability will be improved. A chin deflector is only possible in a system or full-face helmet.Micrometric buckle
The micrometric buckle is the most frequently used buckle on helmets and easy to use. The rattle buckle ensures that it can be adjusted to the correct position. The buckle is easily opened by pulling the red loop.Helmet graphics with scratch resistant varnish
Each helmet is carefully treated to achieve the right finish. After the helmet has been smoothed, it is sprayed in several layers of colour. Then the helmet is covered with water-based graphics. Finally, the helmet is covered with a transparent scratch-resistant lacquer.Sun visor (attached)
This sun visor is attached to the helmet by bolts. If required, the visor can be removed with tools. The main function of the sun visor is to protect the driver from sunlight. This sun visor is often found on cross helmets. The visor also protects the driver from splashing mud.Shaped visor with anti-scratch coating
The visor is shaped to be in line with the nose. The visor is treated with a special coating that prevents scratching of the visor. However, do not let sharp objects such as keys or jewellery touch the visor.Average weight size M +/-1500gr
The weight of the helmet depends on the type of helmet. A jet-helmet is generally lighter than a system helmet. Glass fibre is also lighter than polycarbonate. The helmet is often measured in size M without visor. The second number on the sticker at the back of the helmet indicates the weight of the visor.Sizes XS-S-M-L-XL-XXL
The size of the helmet is determined by the number of centimeters of head circumference. The size is measured with a measuring tape above the ears along the widest part of the head. The number of centimeters determines the size. The sizes are however an indication. This is no guarantee that the helmet will fit. Check per brand how the size is calculated.Click here to determine your helmet size.
ECE 22-05 certification

This certification meet of a number of minimum requirements that a helmet must pass. The ECE certification can be found on the label attached to the chinstrap.Specifications
